Blackout

The eighth studio album by the German rock band Scorpions. It was released in 1982. In the US, the album was certified gold on 24 June 1982 and platinum on 8 March 1984 by RIAA. Rolling Stone ranked Blackout as 73rd on their list of "The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time" in 2017. I recommend.

Blackout is a continuation of the Scorpions formula starting with 1979’s Lovedrive and 1980’s Animal Magnetism (Which are both stellar) Blackout has it all. Fast paced rockers, as well as power ballads like ‘No One Like You’. Many songs on this album are still played live and show up in a variety of greatest hits packages. Excellent record.

A real deluxe three panel digipack (with luxurious booklet!) remastered edition (BMG, 2018) of very strong album (1982) from great German hard/melodic rock band. Fantastic album stuff and nice bonuses. Must have!

El disco que catapultó a Scorpions a nivel mundial; a partir de entonces ya nada los detuvo. Edición remasterizada con bonus tracks; es la mejor remasterización que se ha hecho hasta hoy en día. Todas las canciones son un himno para el género, infaltable en cualquier coleccionista de buen rock.
