| Description: | 2018 release. Luroner Show Tyme Brooks is Trenton, NJ born and bred. His talent was discovered in church at the age of 7 while singing his first solo ('When I See Jesus'). The rendition sent the church in frenzy and caused his much beloved grandmother to literally slap him. His professional career got started years later working with the singer Case who gave him his stage name Show Tyme. Show Tyme has performed live with a who's who in the hip hop and R&B world including Pharoahe Monch, M.O.P., Guru, Jodeci, Musiq Soulchild, Kelly Price and the list goes on. In 2013, Show teamed up with Big Daddy Kane to form Las Supper for the album Back To The Future which he co-wrote and co-produced. Finally, stepping out on his own, Show Tyme releases his debut solo project Love Truth via his company Cold Rain in a partnership with W.A.R. Media. The album is contemporary R&B and soul music that would stand the test in any era. As Show Tyme puts it, "The album is my interpretation of how I see love through the ups and downs, pitfalls and comebacks." The first single "Come On Home To Me" finds him on the verge of losing everything that is important and sends a plea to his love to forgive and come back where she belongs. |
