Me And A Monkey On The Moon is an album by Felt, released in 2022. The album is a rock CD.
During the ??80s Felt made ten albums and ten singles for the Cherry Red and Creation labels. These records have been remastered and revisited by Lawrence. These new editions follow the elaborate CD and vinyl re-issue campaign and allows the most casual listener with limited shelf space to explore the world of Lawrence and Felt. Much like a Penguin paperback which updates its covers for each new generation of fans, these beautiful editions are as always designed by the Shanghai Packaging Company. Me And A Monkey On The Moon: The novel idea for the final Felt album was to engage Adrian Borland who had almost produced the first. Adrian rehearsed with the band for a week, suggesting arrangements and familiarising himself with the material. Such enthusiasm from a producer was a first. Felt, by now a trio of Lawrence, Ainge and Duffy, had moved to Brighton to join label mates Primal Scream and Creation ??President? Alan McGee. In fact, Robert Young from the Scream plays elegant bass throughout. Creation though could not release the record until 1990 so Felt switched to the idiosyncratic el to fulfil their dream of ten albums in ten years. Determination ?? Inspiration ?? Revelation. Limited set consisting of the digital remaster of the original 1989 album, long deleted 7" vinyl single pertaining to the original year of the album's release, reproduction gig flyers, double-sided wall poster, and four button lapel badges for displaying with pride. Following the release of Felt's first five albums in February 2018, the band's reissue campaign continues with the second half of their discography. During the '80s Felt recorded 10 albums and ten singles for the Cherry Red and Creation labels. This gorgeously-produced series explores the work of one of the greatest indie groups in recent memory.
