Description:Description The GEU-1621 is equipped with 16 gigabit ports to enable users to transfer large and bandwidth-intensive files faster. This will give you a real improvement in efficiency. The store-and-forward architecture filters out errors and forwards the data packets in a non-blocking environment. Flow Control ensures the accuracy of the data sent, while 802.3x and Back-Pressure Flow Control operate in full/half duplex mode. The GEU-1621 supports IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet with power-saving features, but without compromising performance. The switch automatically switches to sleep mode when no further link activity is detected to save energy. The GEU-1621 supports the Nway Auto-Negotiation protocol and automatically detects network speeds (10/100/1000 Mbps) and duplex modes (Full/Half). The Auto-MDI/MDI-X function does not require crossover cables.
