Feat: Ian McDonald (King Crimson & Foreigner) on Flute on Laila
The single ""Running To The Convent / Nowhere To Go"" caused a bit of a stir in the 'industry' at the time because it was released on Island`s B&C label which was a ska & bluebeat label. The album was never released but had Ian McDonald (King Crimson) on flute guesting & Jimmy Page offered his services for free after a chance meeting at a Lyceum all nighter.
All tracks produced by Nick Butt apart from â??Running to the Conventâ?? produced by Mike Dolan and recorded at Trident Studio Soho.
Engineer: Andy Knight - Previously unreleased album from lost British psych band Dry Ice. The 1969 sessions that resulted in the "Running to the Convent" single (both sides included here) finally released! Includes Ian McDonald of King Crimson on flute. Catchy and trippy at the same time!Packaging: standard plastic jewel box case, clear tray, 12 page stapled cover booklet, 12 page stapled Secret Records catalog insert.
Front of box has small, round, yellow hype sticker with black lettering affixed directly to the jewel case door states: "DRY ICE (PSYCH-ROCK ALBUM) RE-MASTERED FROM ORIGINAL 'LOST' MASTER TAPES feat: Ian McDonald (King Crimson & Foreigner) on Flute MBTCD018" (capitalization and hyphenation as it appears on hype sticker).

(P) (C) 2018 except tracks 3 & 10 (P) 1969, from the [r5266190] 7" single.
