Description:This air flow sensor works according to the principle of the hot film anemometer and uses the cooling effect of the air flow streaking over the surface of the sensor element. The output voltage changes to the same extent as the air or gas flow through the inlet and outlet ports of the sensor housing. Built with a thin-film, thermo-insulated bridge structure with heating and two temperature sensor elements. The bridge structure enables high measurement sensitivity and fast response time to air/gas flow over the chip. The two temperature sensors with the central heating element in between make it possible to detect the flow direction and measure throughput. Passive element consisting of two wheatstone bridges.
