On this album, Marcus King shows he’s not only the new gunslinger in town, but he has also blossomed into one of the best songwriters in modern music. And one listen to his soulful voice will surely make you a fan. I mean it as high praise when I say that, had this record been released in 1977, it would’ve been a multi-platimum smash! Any fan of guitar-driven rock with a bluesy feel and top-drawer musicianship needs this in their collection. I highly recommend the vinyl lp, which, when played on a nice sound system, sounds like the band is in the room with you! Marcus King is a star. Find out for yourself - you won’t be sorry!
