Singer-songwriter Clay Blaker Lays It All On The Line with mostly original compositions here, a departure from 1986's "Sooner or Later" which featured mostly other great songwriters' works. Originally released in 1993, "Layin' It All On The Line" does just that, with seven originals three carefully selected covers, including one each from Buck Owens and Willie Nelson. The album features the ultra-talented band Clay road with up to his sudden retirement in 2002, including Tommy Detamore, Al Quaid, John Clark, John Carroll, and Ronnie Huckaby. Guest artists include the incomparable Joel Guzman on accordion.
