Thereza Bazar made her name first with '70s act Guys 'N' Dolls and then, alongside David Van Day, as one half of '70s/'80s Pop sensations Dollar, who scored numerous hits across the first half of the decade. The Canadian-born, British-based singer then made a solo album, entitled The Big Kiss, for MCA in 1985, produced by the legendary Arif Mardin at Atlantic Studios. Personally overseen by Thereza, The Big Kiss now makes it's welcome debut on CD as an expanded two disc edition. The Big Kiss includes the singles 'The Big Kiss' and 'Too Much In Love' and adds the non-album single 'Gotcha', the theme from the US comedy movie of the same name. The package boasts 19 bonus tracks, many of them previously unissued, with the entire album in 12" format on disc 2, as well as previously unissued demos. Contains detailed liner notes, and track-by-track commentary.First time on CD. Includes bonus tracks and the entire album in extended 12" form on the second disc.
