Rich released his first single â??Whirlwindâ? in 1958 on Sun Records. In 1960 he recorded his first top 30 singles â??Lonely Weekendsâ? followed by â??Who Will The Next Fool Beâ?, â??Sittinâ?? and â??Thinkinâ?â?? and â??Midnight Bluesâ?. When it comes to artistic integrity and musical quality, he actually stood head and shoulders above all the other Sun cats.
