Katrine Madsen is ready to release her 9th album - a live album recorded in the summer of 2018 at Copenhagens Jazzhus Montmartre. The album sees Madsen once again join forces with Henrik Gunde Pedersen (Piano), Jesper Bodilsen (Acoustic Bass), Jonas Johansen (Drums), as well as Jacob Christoffersen (Piano) and consists of a series of her own compositions as well as a few standards. Katrine Madsen studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and has worked in Copenhagen on albums with numerous well-known jazz artists from around the globe. In 2002 she founded the Katrine Madsen Sextet. Her previous albums have all been well-received, and her live performances have taken her across Europe.
