 | Description: | Comprised of members from all across North America, The Mighty Nimbus encompasses a flux of
musical styles and influences to create the archaic anthem for the downtrodden. No motherfucker
can stop it. Now this band have create timeless music for future generations. The variation
between Sludge, Doom & Southern chaos makes this a band a force to be reckoned with. And
should appeal to fans of Black Label Society, Down, Black Sabbath & High On Fire. - The Mighty Nimbus was cleaved into existence in the summer of 2002, Erik Larson from Alabama Thunderpussy & Pete Champel (Sixty Watt Shaman) hit it off right away during a tour together in North America in hopes to germinate a new crop of sonic flora. With such influences as Crowbar, St. Vitus, Entombed and The Obsessed; The Mighty Nimbus sound is a maelstrom of downtuned thunder, venomously oozing from blown speakers. Yet, the sound is complicated with delicately layered guitar harmonies and blues based licks all the while proclaiming their demiurgic, seminal sound.
