This album was recorded live in Copenhagen on September 8, 1961. Multi-instrumentalist/composer Eric Dolphy, who left a distinct and original imprint on Jazz, here plays solo bass clarinet on â??God Bless the Childâ??. â??Oleoâ?? is more in the hard bop vein and Dolphyâ??s bass clarinet really cooks! â??Hi-Flyâ?? is a 13-minute duet with Dolphy on flute and Chuck Israels on bass. Joined by a supportive Danish rhythm section (pianist Bent Axen, bassist Erik Moseholm and drummer Jorn Elniff). - 4 BONUS TRACKS

#1 "In The Blues" was originally issued as "I Don't Know Why". #6 to #9 are bonus tracks stemming from the same concert which were not included on the original LP. Released as three panel fold out digipak with additional booklet. Hype sticker on shrinkwrap: Limited edition of 500 copies.
