Informaciones adicionales: Music From Rembrandt's Time / Ak 2020
Descripción:The musical side of the great Dutch baroque painter Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) is the inspiration for this new release: this music could have been heard by Rembrandt in his environment, some of it even with great certainty. In the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, where many of Rembrandt's most important pictures can be found, the recording took place on the unique Petrus Joanne's couchet harpsichord, which also belongs to the collection of the Rijksmuseum. The Amsterdam-born Bob van Asperen is of course an ideal artist to realize this extraordinary project. In his booklet text, the world-famous harpsichordist explains many previously little-known references between Rembrandt and the music of his time. Bob van Asperen is one of the most famous early music specialists for harpsichord, clavichord, and organ, and is also known as a conductor and musicologist. Since 1999, Bob van Asperen and AEOLUS have developed an intensive collaboration, the results of which include their critically acclaimed recordings of the works of J.J. Froberger and J.S. Bach., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Cover, Painting [Self-portrait]: Rembrandt, Harpsichord [Couchet]: Bob van Asperen, Producer, Engineer, Edited By: Ulrich Lorscheider, Composed By: Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Composed By: Heinrich Scheidemann, Composed By: Anonymous, Composed By: Anonymous, Composed By: Joachim van den Hove, Composed By: Cornelis Tymanszoon Padbrué, Composed By: Anthoni van Noordt, Composed By: Anonymous, Composed By: Heinrich Scheidemann, Composed By: Johann Jakob Froberger, Composed By: Gisbert van Steenwick, Composed By: Cornelis Tymanszoon Padbrué, Composed By: Anonymous, Composed By: Johann Kaspar Kerll, Composed By: Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Composed By: Henderick Speuy, Composed By: Anonymous, Composed By: Cornelis Tymanszoon Padbrué, Composed By: Johann Adam Reincken, Labelcode AELS10164.2 (AE-10164), Recorded At Rijksmuseum, Phonographic Copyright (p) Aeolus, Copyright (c) Aeolus
