schon lange so was nicht mehr empfunden als ich zum ersten Mal reinhörte. ( vielleicht früher bei ''Is this it'' von den Strokes)
Das Album ist faszinierend , geht in vielen verschiedenen Richtungen und die Einflüsse sind zahlreich.
Punk Attitude beim Gesang ( die hohe Stimme vom Sänger erinnert an Peter Perret von the only ones.) elastische Bass (muss dabei an Gang of four denken) , Schagzeug richtig nach vorn hörbar. Das Album lässt sich aus einem Zug genießen und bei jedem Lied taucht man in einer neuen Dimension oder musikalische Richtung.Der Gesang by ''Watching the news gives me the blues'' lässt nicht gleichgültig trotz der eigenartige Stimme vom Sänger.Die Bassgitarre und Gitarre bei it's alright sind fesselnd! too much tension klingt sofort wie ein klassiker ,das album dauert insgesamt 31 Min 11 Sekunden und keine Sekunde ist dabei langweilig , ganz im Gegenteil. Ich wollte es sofort als Vinyl bekommen und konnte es bei Grooves.land erwerben wo es bei allen anderen nicht mehr verfügbar war.
