This version of Red Lips, Knuckles And Bones comes as a 1xCD. - .. BONESFreedom in Loneliness Red Lips, Knuckles and Bones occasionally feels like a solo album. On predecessor Don't Stay for Breakfast, Hilde Louise had delegated many decisions to her producer. This time, she personally dealt with every detail, including the arrangements and even the grooves of her four piece "Orchestra". Many of her stories refer to a tragic year which saw her lose three dear friends at once. The general tone of the album, however, is one of optimism and joy. Or, as she puts it on "A Swing of it's Own": "Don't be clever, just swing". 10 albums and 15 years into her remarkable career, this may well be her most personal work.Supported by the Norwegian Fund for Performing Arts, Arts Council Norway and The Composers' Remuneration Fund, Norway.
