Live at Gilleyâ??s was recorded on September 17, 1981, at the world-famous Gilleyâ??s nightclub in Pasadena, Texas, with Leon and his New Grass Revival Band. The CD version was originally released in 2000, but it has been out of print since 2002. The 2019 edition features new artwork and liner notes by Leon Russell associate Steve Todoroff. -

Live archive release from the rock legend. Leon was in peak form and his New Grass Revival Band were on fire when this September 17, 1981 show was recorded at Gilley's in Pasadena, Texas. They weave classics and Leon's best-loved tunes into an immensely satisfying whole: "Mystery Train, " "One More Love Song, " "Truck Drivin' Man, " "Cajun Love Song, " "Lady Blue, " "A Song for You, " "Uncle Pen, " "In the Pines" and more!
