12" version. After a big success of his first LP released in 2018 (DSR 001CD/LP), Gili Yalo comes back with his new release, Made In Amharica. Ethiopian-born, Israeli artist, Gili Yalo brings together more than two musical worlds this time. The new EP, Made In Amharica, is a result of Yalo's cooperation with Grammy Awards nominated Niles City Sound, production team consisting of Josh Block, Austin Jenkins, and Chris Vivion. The EP songs reflect the cooperation between Gili Yalo and Dallas-based musicians in the high-end vintage equipped recording studios of Niles City Sound Studio in Fort Worth's South Main. The EP consists of four songs - in English and Amharic. The title of the EP is a word play: Amharic is a language of Ethiopian people. All songs were recorded in America, South Main. Gili Yalo combines the modern definition of Ethiopian roots, strong funky, and jazzy influences with a deep soul feeling. Made In Amharica is something more - soul with RnB flavor, strengthened by American musicians, production team, and the best sounding analog vintage sound equipment.
