Prepare to return to Cogtopolis! On the 3-year anniversary of their previous release, Gandalfâ??s Fist and Plane Groovy have announced "The Clockwork Prologue" on double gatefold Vinyl. The LP follows hot on the tails of the acclaimed CD release and, in a unique twist, the album is designed to act as an 'expansion pack' to their 2016 triple album "The Clockwork Fable". -

The record is a stand-alone double album that's a prequel to "the Clockwork fable".. The album ends with a further addition to the acclaimed "lamplighter suite" and segues seamlessly into the original album. The original actors from the Clockwork Fable have once again returned and new characters and sub-plots to the already sprawling story are introduced. It is the first album release by Gandalf's Fist as a 6-Piece band and features some of the best-sounding and diverse material to date.

All even-numbered tracks are dramatic/narrative scenes. Packaged in a trifold digipack with clear trays and 24-page booklet. Recorded and mixed 2018-2019 at Lamplighter Studios, Patchwork Studios, Friggin'-Hot-Attic-Studios. Main dialogue recorded at Appleyard Studios, East Sussex. Additional vocals recorded at Notes Studios, North Shields. Additional Tinker voice-overs recorded at Glass Crush Audio.
