50th Anniversary Double 7" Single Boxed Set

Description:

Space Oddity 50th Anniversary single 1 will feature Space Oddity (Original mono single edit) cut from the original analogue master tape by Ray Staff at AIR Mastering on the A side and the original mono B side Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud while single 2 will feature 2019 Mix â?? single edit of Space Oddity on the A side and Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud 2019 Mix â?? single version on the B side. The sleeve housing single 1 is the rare original UK promotional picture sleeve (the sleeve and label feature the original Philips trademark specifically cleared for this 50th anniversary release) and the sleeve housing single 2 will be a new design featuring a Ray Stevenson shot from 1969. The box also includes an info card and double sided poster featuring an original Space Oddity press ad and an alternative Ray Stevenson shot of David from 1969. Space Oddity (50th Anniversary EP) comes in a boxed set including a double-sided poster featuring an original "Space Oddity" print advertisement and a Ray Stevenson shot of Bowie taken on stage at the "Save Rave '69" concert at the London Palladium on November 30, 1969, the backdrop featuring a N.A.S.A. astronaut. The set also includes an information card and a print featuring an alternative shot by Jojanneke Claassen from the "Space Oddity" promo single cover session.

Box set. 7" card glossy insert, with credits and pictures. Round hype sticker on shrink: "2x7" singles in rare and new picture sleeves. Includes photo print and double sided poster. The singles feature the original mono single cut directly from the original analogue tape with brand new Tony Visconti mixes."
