Der Mann der im Rock die Meilenstein-Alben von Yes und King Crimson geprägt hat und technisch, immer innovativ fast 50 Jahre die Grenzen des schlagzeugmöglichen erweiterte, hatte mit seiner Earthworks-Formation wohl den meisten Spass. Selbsterklärter Jazzmusiker findet er auf seinen Alben, die in dieser Box versammelt sind, die Gelegenheit zum Musizieren. Dass das immer noch Struktur hat und nie zum selbstgerechten Daddeln verkommt ist wohl der Herrn Bruford und seinen exzellenten Mitmusikers eigenen Disziplin und ihrem technischen Können geschuldet.
