Die Blues Band, jetzt im 40. Jahr ihres Bestehens wurde von von Manfred Mann, dem LeadsÃ¤nger und Paul Jones sowie dem Gitarristen Tom McGuinness gegrÃ¼ndet. Die ursprÃ¼ngliche Besetzung bestand aus dem Bassisten Gary Fletcher und dem Slide-Gitarristen Dave Kelly (der zuvor mit der John Dummer Band, Howlin â??Wolf und John Lee Hooker spielte und dem Schlagzeuger Hughie Flint (John Mayalls Blues). Als Flint 1982 verlieÃ?, wurde er durch Rob Townsend ersetzt.
