We can say that it is truly unique. By publishing this material, the group received both a cult status and a certain level, which, unfortunately, it subsequently lost (although the release of Damnation and a Day can be regarded as a competitor, but this is a topic for another discussion). Be that as it may, with regards to Cruelty and The Beast, only two things can be said. This album is either disgusting (although more than one person clearly could not objectively explain why this is so), or at least it is devilishly good (we can say that it is genius, but such an interpretation is more like a fan’s sayings).
