Vinyl LP pressing, Formed in Nashville, Tennessee during the mid 1990s' American crust punk surge, later relocating to Portland, Oregon, the infectious, downtuned From Ashes Rise sound became a staple in the scene, and alongside bands like Tragedy and His Hero Is Gone helped pioneer what is defined as modern crust punk. In 2019 From Ashes Rise and Southern Lord offer up remastered reissues of the band's first two albums, Concrete & Steel and Silence, with the incredible sounding remastering coming courtesy of Brad Boatright and Audiosiege.
