Certainly, the landmark work of the entire Death Metal style and its particular subgenre is Swedish Death Metal. A monolithic canvas of drum rolls, buzzing guitars and eerie screams of a villainous vocalist. At first listening it seemed that I was, so to speak, buried alive. The atmosphere of thick, rich black soil that clogged the mouth and eye sockets. There is not a single passable or superfluous song. Each time the vocals reach the cemetery surface, they are original and unique. "Living Dead" sets the whole mood and promises difficult next 40 minutes. Goosebumps run down the furry back from the obscurantist roar rushing into the darkness. "Blessed Be" gallops so that the legs themselves dance the dance of St. Vitus. The crescendo of "Chaos Breed" makes my mind rush into a bottomless tunnel. "Through The Collonades" plunge into the languor of the dungeons of Cthulhu. A rich darkness softly envelops the consciousness. And what is the result? After listening, there is a feeling that you slept like a baby and the whole world is happy about your arrival. There are rumors that the vocals belong to drummer Nick Andersson, Johnny Dordevic is indicated on the covers. Here is everything for which we love Death Metal - the atmosphere, the beastly rage, the brutality of the gut, floating in a rainbow and reverberating oily broth. Unfortunately, the band did not produce anything like this in the future, leaving the mainstream for experiments. The album cover is made by the artist Dan Seagrave - if you look at his works on the official website, you will get a lot of pleasure from science fiction mixed with fantasy.

An old school death metal album you must listen to. I dare to say that this is their best masterpiece.
Listen to this cool drumming in the second song.
