Alena is a recipient of numerous prizes such as the first prizes in the British Flute Society's competitions, International Flute Competition "Friedrich Kuhlau" in Germany, and the Royal Academy of Music flute competition. She has also won several prestigious awards including the Worshipful Company of Musicians Award, the Hattori Foundation Award and the Wolfson Foundation Award, and performed at the most prestigious UK venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, King's Place, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. |
