2020 release. The legendary Canadian metal band Annihilator: Jeff Waters (vocals and guitar) Rich Hinks (bass), Aaaron Homma (guitar) and Fabio Alessandrini (Drums) deliver their 17th studio album. Ballistic, Sadistic promises to deliver a full speed-metal aural assault that would have even the most fearless thrasher quaking in their white high tops. The album is comprised of ten tracks of pure Annihilating metal, produced, engineered, edited and mixed by Jeff Waters himself in his recording studio, Watersound Studios UK.
Digipak similar to [r=21432307] but with lenticular cover.
The seventeenth studio album by the Canadian thrash metal band. One of the best albums Annihilator has ever made. Age certainly hasn't worn Annihilator out. I recommend.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are talking about Ballistic, Sadistic, a record in which American thrash is brought to technical boundaries rarely found in the albums of the great protagonists of the time... 5 STARS

Ballistic Sadistic is a good album, where finally the Annihilators come back on more than acceptable levels. Some regrets arrive with the second half of the disc, if compared with the excellent first half. This happens because Jeff's vocals are a way less inspired, probably because of weaker songs (Lip service, is a Megadeth essay; One wrong move does not give any new input to the listener). Luckily the last song, End of the Lie, reconnects the feeling to the good first ones (Armed to the teeth and Attitude i.e. as classic essay of genuine thrash metal!).
