Breaking Benjamin, formed in the early 2000s in the United States, have built a massive following with their blend of alternative metal, post-grunge and hard rock. Known for dark, introspective lyrics and powerful choruses, the band has released multiple platinum and multi-platinum singles and albums over the years. Records such as "Phobia", "Dear Agony" and "Ember" have charted strongly and helped cement their reputation as one of the most successful rock acts of their generation. With "Aurora", the band presents a more reflective side while revisiting key songs from their career in a fresh and emotionally resonant way, making this LP both an ideal entry point for new listeners and a must-have collector's item for long-time fans.
The LP format accentuates the dynamics and spaciousness of the arrangements, inviting you to experience these songs as complete, coherent journeys rather than isolated tracks. Side by side, the pieces reveal the band's compositional maturity: delicate acoustic passages flow into expansive climaxes, vocal harmonies and guest appearances (where present on the original release) are gently emphasized, and the overall sound image gains warmth and dimensionality. The large LP cover also offers room for artwork and liner notes that visually reflect the cinematic, almost ethereal atmosphere of "Aurora".
