| | Description: | Sons of Apollo ist eine amerikanische Progressive-Metal-Supergroup, die 2017 gegrĂĽndet wurde und
aus Schlagzeuger Mike Portnoy, Bassist Billy Sheehan, Keyboarder Derek Sherinian, Sänger Jeff
Scott Soto, und Gitarrist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal besteht.
'Sons Of Apollo' besteht aus fünf Grö�en, die sich allesamt ihre Sporen in der Rockmusik verdient haben.
Billy Sheehan war, u.a. Bassist bei David Lee Roth und ist GrĂĽnder von Mr. Big. Ron
Bumblefoot' Thal war Gitarrist bei Guns 'n Roses, einer extrem populären Hardrock-Band
aus LA. Jeff Scott Soto ist ein begnadeter amerikanischer Rocksänger, der vor allem durch die ersten beiden Alben von Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, aber auch für seinen kurzen Aufenthalt bei der AOR Rock Band bekannt ist.
Und dann haben wir noch Derek Sherinian und Mike Portnoy, bekannt durch
Dream Theater.'(Progwereld)
Es besteht also kein Zweifel, dass es sich hier um Musiker handelt, die alle zu den Besten an ihren
Instrumenten (und Gesang) gehören. Und auf diesem Album geben sie ihr Bestes, um sich von den anderen abzuheben.
Tolle Schlagzeugparts, bombastische Basssoli, beeindruckende Gitarrenparts und fabelhafte Keyboard
Arbeit. Darüber hinaus zähle ich Jeff Scott Soto seit langem zu den besten Sängern und auf diesem
Album beweist er einmal mehr, dass er auf einer Stufe mit Ronnie James Dio und Geoff Tate steht.
An den Qualitäten der einzelnen Herren gibt es also nichts zu meckern, das ist
