One of the most imitated of all the blues giants, King projected tremendous presence on stage, both singing and playing guitar. It was issued by Modern Recordsâ?? subsidiary label, Custom (the same LP had been previously released by Crown Records, simply titled B.B. King). The ten songs numbers with organ and horns, such as â??Please Remember Me,â? â??Come Back Baby,â? and the romping â??You Never Know,â? a Maxwell Davis production from the 1960s with a powerful brass section and lively organ playing. This blues masterpiece has been remastered on this very special edition, which also includes 12 bonus tracks from the same period; featuring the great â??I Got to Find My Baby,â? the infectious R&B â??Come By Here,â? the groovy instrumental â??Mashing the Popeye,â? and the blues ballad â??The Fool.â?
