Description:This project has a proposal that through the original composition written for this traditional format in the Jazz genre in which textures in the form of the composition are exposed in a relevant way, in which Abraham Barrera proposes a fusion of elements of the classical school, with improvisation, the Mexican and contemporary concept, in it's final result. Each theme of the Peculiar Trio maintains a harmonic structure of wide range and rhythmic / polyphonic / harmonic concept that requires the performers a domain you will see in the instrument and control of different changes of time and structure. The themes have a character among waltzes, Son, Huapango, Danzón, Improvisation, all led to a current and avant-garde contribution. de Lo Peculiar Trío leaves us a range of possibilities in the way of approaching the traditional format with a very peculiar concept and sound when listening to the compositions created for this project and executed by the three masters that make up this trio.
