Description:Heavens End by Loop, released 21 February 2020. This version of Heavens End comes as a 2xCD. -
A remastered and repackaged re-release of Loop's Heaven's End. Heavens End originally came out on the HEAD label in 1987, they recorded their first Peel session that year (on the CD bonus disc) and the album draws heavily from the likes of the Velvets, Stooges, and the MC5.
Remastered CD reissue of the [r=593825] LP plus additional CD with bonus tracks and Peel Session. Remastered at The Soundmasters, July 2008. All tracks (except Peel Sessions) recorded at the House In The Woods, Aug/Sept 1987. Peel Session recorded at Maida Vale Studios for BBC Radio 1's John Peel show. First transmission date: 19th August 1987. Text about the special packaging from Robert Hampson's website: CD's are "housed in a Mini Vinyl style card sleeve, which reproduce the original artwork which has been slightly modified to fit the gatefold format and including inner bags for both discs." Same as [r1542594] but with barcode printed on back cover.
