Bostridge describes it as â??the distillation of Beethoven as loverâ?. Among the other items are the rapturously lyrical â??Adelaideâ??, the sombre â??In questa tomba oscuraâ?? and a selection of Beethovenâ??s settings of folksongs from the British Isles.
