To honor her late husband, Kelly Peterson assembled some of the most celebrated jazz artists in the world to perform and record on the luminaryâ??s prized personal Bösendorfer Imperial piano, releasing the recordings on CD as a deluxe collectorâ??s edition featuring an extensive commemorative book.
Oscar, With Love showcases Oscar Peterson as a composer and includes the world premiere of several pieces he wrote but never recorded. These compositions were retrieved from Petersonâ??s library for this project. - FIVE 180 GR. LP'S IN TWO-PIECE BOX WITH 40 PG. BOOKLETTracks A1, A3, B3, C2, D1, D4, G1, G3, H3, I1, and J3 are new, never previously recorded.
Box set includes Downloadcard and a booklet with photos and liner notes as well as interviews with performing artists.
All tracks have been played on Oscar Peterson?s own Bösendorfer Imperial and recorded in OP?s personal studio in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada between October 2014 and September 2015. |
