Compared to their prior albums, Human II Nature musically in some ways resembles EFMB, but seems even more mellow overall though it does have its more upbeat moments, like in the second song Noise. Aside from the more vocal parts, it seems to chug along at a steady pace with a lot of orchestration throughout.

Human. :II: Nature. is a double length. The first disc features nine new songs offering some of the band's best tracks in years. The second is an eight-part orchestral conceptual suite titled, "All the Works of Nature which Adorn the World"
