While Into Clouds typified the transitional moments we all experience in life and was also reflective of Eric's own life at the time of recording, 'Lucky Ones' is certainly a celebration of it. Anchored in themes of gratitude, the LP is a collection of 11 meticulously crafted cuts which see him draw from a deep pool of personal influences, including the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and The Prodigy, his love for San Francisco, Burning Man, time spent as a student in Berlin and even winning US TV game show The Price Is Right. |
