Atkins nahm Italian Ice im historischen Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama, mit den legendÃ¤ren Session-Musikern Spooner Oldham und David Hood auf, die Teil der berÃ¼hmten Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section (The Swampers) waren. Zu Atkins gesellten sich auch Binky Griptite von den Dap-Kings, Jim Sclavunos und Dave Sherman von Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds und der Schlagzeuger McKenzie Smith. Neben Daniel waren auch Seth Avett von The Avett Brothers, Erin Rae und John Paul White zu Gast. -
