Description:Die Songwriterin, Sängerin und Multiinstrumentalistin Myrkur veröffentlicht ihr neues Album â??Folkesangeâ?? via Relapse. 2020 release. Danish composer, vocalist and classically trained multi-instrumentalist Myrkur (a.k.a. Amalie Bruun) has always paved her own path and challenged underground preconceptions of heavy genres. Just after newfound motherhood, Bruun set out on a journey into the very heart of the Scandinavian culture that marked her own childhood with the release of her album, Folkesange. The album relinquishes black metal for a refined yet far-reaching evocation of traditional folk, combining songs ancient and new to sublimely resonant effect.

Shi Duan L. - 28/Apr/2021 5 of 5 Stars!
Folkesange is a non-metal folk album by this black metal solo act, and the music is a blend between Scandinavian folk sounds with some dark folk. If you're into folk music in general, you should love it.
