Imagine a street in New Orleans... all of a sudden a jazz band with trumpets, trombones, saxophones, saunas and drums pops up. The band plays and sings happy and swinging music that makes it impossible to stand still. The jazz parade was started in 2013 and since then there have been about 60 performances at many of the schools in the Västra Götaland region, but also festivals and hits of various kinds. The reception has been overwhelming. The jazz parade with Bohuslän Big Band marches in and surprises with an entertaining show where the spectators themselves can participate in the songs with song and dance. Several of the songs are easily recognizable, but now they are performed in a completely different way than you are used to. Completely acoustic, only one megaphone is used when someone in the band sings.
