Evgeny K. - 24.09.2021 Really good listen, and feel it ranks as one of his best albums.

Alexander S. - 02.07.2019 The album resembles Antichrist Superstar, only grown up in creative terms, and, as a rule, with a slower rhythm. Mechanical Animals I miss because I think this album is a mistake (too much Marilyn Manson makes such mistakes). There are also fast songs, but the atmosphere has become more suicidal, the rage has become much less. The vocals on this album became much more expressive, the music is more diverse. I also liked the use of an acoustic guitar and the fact that in some songs the melody changes. In principle, all the songs are good, but what I liked the most was slow and dark: Valentine's Day, Coma Black. Perhaps Holy Wood is the best work of Marilyn Manson to date, but I personally doubt that there will be something better because after this album, Manson's mind fell into this very “black coma”. The only drawback, as always, is the cost of style - no guitar solos.
