CHOROS/Î§Î?Î¡Î?Î£: ZwiegesprÃ¤che und WechselgesÃ¤nge mit Musik zum OidÃpous TÃ½rannos von Sophokles und zu Chor-Lyrik von Archilochos, Alkman und Sappho. Die fÃ¼r CHOROS/Î§Î?Î¡Î?Î£ entstandene Musik zu Texten des 7. bis 5. Jh. v. Chr. ist Ã¼ber einen intensiven Zugang zur antiken Klangwelt entstanden: Ganz wesentlich bilden die von Paul J. Reichlin rekonstruierten Instrumente die Grundlage der Musik. Diese sind die Frucht einer Ã¼ber 20-jÃ¤hrigen intensiven Zusammenarbeit eines Instrumentenbauers mit einem musikarchÃ¤ologisch geschulten Musiker. Als Quellen dienen Instrumententeile in unterschiedlichen Museen, unzÃ¤hlige Vasenbilder und Reliefs aus der Zeit von 700 bis 500 v. Chr., sowie literarische Dokumente. Eine weitere wichtige Quelle der Erkenntnis, wie denn Musik der griechischen Antike geklungen haben kÃ¶nnte, sind die Eigenheiten der altgriechischen Sprache, die RÃ¼ckschlÃ¼sse auf die Musik zulassen. The music for CHOROS made for texts from the 7th to 5th centuries BC came about through an intensive approach to the ancient world of sound: the instruments reconstructed by Paul J. Reichlin formed the basis of the music. These are the result of over 20 years of intensive collaboration between an instrument maker and a music archeologist.
