Bill Haley & His Comets were, of course, the most important, catalytic artists in the arrival of Rock & Roll. Their million-selling 'Crazy Man, Crazy', issued in 1953, is generally perceived as having been R&R's first major hit record, although their "calling card" is of course 'Rock Around The Clock', the multi-million-selling worldwide hit that established R&R's arrival on an international stage. Their other notable million-sellers include 'Shake, Rattle & Roll', 'Dim, Dim The Lights', 'Burn That Candle' and 'See You Later, Alligator'. All are included on this unique compilation, which comprises all their twenty-six U. S. and U. K. hits between 1953 and 1960, plus a handful of subsequent, 1960-1961 follow-up singles.
