| Description: | The debut solo EP from That Joe Payne, What is the World Coming To was the second release, following the single I Need a Change earlier the same year, in the build up to the singer's debut album, By Name. By Nature, which arrives in 2020. The 6-minute-long prog-pop fan favourite combines influences including Kate Bush, ELO, and Queen. The CD also features the B Side, Music for a While - a unique electronic, dub-step reworking of Henry Purcell's countertenor classic - and five other exclusive tracks. The additional tracks are acoustic studio recorded renditions of his best know previous releases, from solo work, The Enid, and Methexis. This music was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Max Read (ex-The Enid) at The Lodge Recording Studios |
