Earl had always wanted to release just "one more album" (something his fans had been begging him for for years). He co-wrote and recorded most of these songs in the early and mid 90's, and the sound and composition of the songs reflect that time period. Earl Thomas Conley was an artist in every sense of the word, from his soulful lyrics and melodies to his drawings, paintings, and exquisite woodwork, Earl's talent knew no bounds. He will remain in our hearts for the rest of our days."
Recorded in Nashville from November 28 2001 through March 28 2002 at Omni Studios, Cartee Studios, Scruggs Studios, and Alpine Studios. Mixed in the spring and summer of 2002 at Alpine Studios.
