Deftones se formó en Sacramento (California) en 1988 y desde entonces ha liderado la escena del metal alternativo mundialmente; su álbum ?White Pony? ganó un premio Grammy consolidando su prestigio internacional gracias a una propuesta innovadora que desafía constantemente los límites musicales tradicionales y cuenta con millones de fieles admiradores alrededor del mundo junto al reconocimiento constante por parte crítica especializada.
