This superb album from the legendary Muddy Waters band member was originally released as a vinyl LP in 1985 and this is the very first CD release. The band features Bill Dicey on harmonica.This set was one of Pinetop's first recordings under his own name after a lifetime of playing with some of the greatest names in electric blues.Pinetop Perkins was a gifted blues piano player and delightful singer he had the full package as bandleader. He found his fame as piano player with Muddy Waters, but clearly was a brilliant artist in his own right.Features three Bonus Tracks from Johnny 'Big Moose' Walker! Big Moose was also a Chicago Blues musician with a similar style and Blues sensibility as Pinetop

Recorded Lakewood Theatre, Maine in September 1985 (tracks 1 to 8). Recorded Soto Sound, Chicago in 1991 (tracks 9 to 11). Track durations and composers (not seen on CD) taken from Windows Media Player. Track 7 is Perkins' Boogie Woogie. CD lists it as Perkin's Boogie Woogoe (on CD reverse cover) and Perkin's Boogie Woogie (on CD disc). According to the CD's liner notes, Had My Fun is really Going Down Slow, and Who's Loving You Now is really That's All Right (Jimmy Rogers version). Tracks 9 to 11 are CD bonus tracks.
