Description:

Laurent Collat is not a newcomer to the French electronic scene. It was in 1988, with the discovery of New Order, that the desire to compose his own songs arose. His techno-pop compositions drift gently towards a house and techno sound, with the arrival of the baggy movement from Manchester and the acid-house wave. In 1992, a pivotal year if ever there was one, pop had been ousted in favour of technology. Between â??92 and â??95, Laurent worked in various horizons, but always with one goal: to make people dance and move. Laurent Collat joined F Communications in 1996. On his first two EPs released in â??96 and â??97, "From Nowhere With Love" and "Snapshots", Elegia developed a melodic and melancholic house. A studio man, he seeks to find the voice that would bring emotion and warmth to the compositions of a future album. - .. LOVE
