AMAHIRU is a spawn of musical crossbreed between FrÃ©dÃ©ric Leclercq (Kreator, Sinsaenum, Dragonforce) and Saki (Maryâ??s Blood). Though the album would still be categorized as a â??metal albumâ?, the oriental elements, which Saki brought in, cannot be ignored. Especially the Shakuhachi (the Japanese traditional woodwind instrument) played by its virtuoso Kifu Mitsuhashi gives a great exotic touch to AMAHIRU's world. The CD features 12 brand new tracks, each with an unique atmosphere of hard hitting guitar riffs, melodic vocals and foreign accompaniment. They serve as a great introduction to the unique sound of AMAHIRU and set the bar high for future releases of the band. -

The duo - consisting of ex-Dragonforce member Frédéric Leclercq and Mary's Blood member SAKI - have come together to release new music together. They've combined metal with oriental elements, and are ready to unleash their creation upon the world.

Track 12 is a bonus track for Europe. It is a [a98228] cover. Guitars and bass recorded at Vamacara studios and Evil 2 studios. Made in Germany. Issued with a digipak and a 16-page booklet. CD have CD-Text.
