A 12" split EP. Previously only available digitally, "Glacial (Live)" and RC3PO were paired on a one-time pressing on limited edition blue vinyl. From the inner sleeve: "Glacial" was a concert featuring re-imagined versions of Royal Canoe's songs performed using only instruments created from ice harvested from Winnipeg's ponds and rivers. Over two sub-zero nights in January, more than 5,000 people showed up at the Forks, located in the heart of their beloved hometown, to see the project performed. Live sound by Elliot Filbert with production from Audioworks Audio recording engineered by John Paul Peters with assistance from Jad Bantug Mixed by Matthew Peters at the Shithole and his home Mastered by Harris Newman at Grey Market Mastering Ice Crystal Sound/Light trigger system designed and built by Andy Rudolph Stage/Ice technician was Matt Dirks "RC3PO" is the story of a couple of Winnipeg's heavyweight musical voices intertwining. The result - a triangle offense of rap styles from 3PEAT smashing into the mad science of beats and sounds Royal Canoe has built their career on. This EP is a snapshot of many nights spent together in RC's Shithole rehearsal space - swimming through haze and laughing in pure joy at the first time you'd get to hear a verse that had been hiding out on someone's iPhone note being spit into the mic. Recorded and mixed by Matthew Peters at the Shithole Mastered by John Paul Peters at Private Ear Studios Original Cover Art by Nereo II
