Albert Bouchard is best known as one of the founding members of Blue Ã?yster Cult. The original band sold millions of albums for Columbia Records with such classic songs as â??Donâ??t Fear the Reaperâ?? and the #1 hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart â??Burning For Youâ??. As a songwriter, he wrote many BÃ?C songs including the very popular â??Astronomyâ?? which was covered by Metallica on their 1998â??s release Garage Inc and the live staple â??Cities on Flame with Rock and Rollâ??, which he also sang lead vocals. Today when not writing and recording in his home studio, he performs with several bands. His latest group, Blue Coupe, is a superstar combo which features his brother Joe Bouchard, also a founding member of BÃ?C, and Dennis Dunaway, a founder of the Alice Cooper Group and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Albertâ??s famous cowbell on â??(Donâ??t Fear) The Reaperâ? was the basis of the popular SNL skit with Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken, which has gained over 13 million views and spawned the phrase â??More Cowbellâ?. Re Imaginos sees Albert revisiting the 1988 Blue Ã?yster Cult album Imaginos, which was originally intended as his solo album. The album weaves scripts and poems by the late Sandy Pearlman, a concept album about an alien conspiracy that is brought to fruition during the late 19th and early 20th century through the actions of Imaginos, an agent of evil -

The album is Albert's reimagining of the 1988 BLUE ÖYSTER CULT LP "Imaginos", which was originally intended as Albert's solo album. As Albert explains: "Most BOC fans know at this point that 'Imaginos' was supposed to be my solo album. Some people think it's the best BOC album, others think it's not a 'true' BOC album. In either case, they're right. I made this new album for them so that they can hear a more properly realized version of the tale."
